We couldn’t ‘sleep’ on this one—Undertaker Books signs Keller Agre’s LET THE GHOSTS SLEEP

Readers looking for a fast-paced horror novella set in Georgia won’t want to miss Keller Agre’s LET THE GHOSTS SLEEP, coming from Undertaker Books in June of 2025.

The novella tells the story of two true crime podcasters bent on exploring Georgia’s Crane Island Club Resort, a haunted hotel where a series of brutal and unsolved murders took place over a hundred years ago. As they uncover more clues, their own dark secrets threaten to come to light, with dangerous consequences.

“This book was inspired by my trips to the Georgia barrier islands and my stay at the Jekyll Island Club Resort,” Agre shared. “I spent the entire weekend I was there learning about the history, reading some of the ghost stories, and creating some of my own.”

Agre says that fans of Riley Sager’s THE ONLY ONE LEFT and Lisa Tuttle’s MY DEATH will want to add LET THE GHOSTS SLEEP to their bookshelves.

Originally from Kansas, Agre is a new horror fiction writer of short stories and longer works. He’s a member of the Atlanta Writers Club as well as various book clubs in the Atlanta area. You can usually find him struggling to hike the Appalachian Mountains, playing folk music on his guitar, or walking his Beagle, Banjo. He works as a Treasury Analyst and lives in Decatur, Georgia with his partner, Caitlin. LET THE GHOSTS SLEEP is his debut novella.
